Here is the French file who replace the original en_menu.txt file, for all the players who still play wirh the 1.0 version and who would be eager to be able to benefit somewhat from our translation. This file must be unzipped in the Datamenu folder of the game and replace the en_menu.txt file already present. We advise you to backup the original en_menu.txt file which will be required for UbiSoft patch installation.

When you run the Generic Mod Enabler, all the sub-folder names under the MODS folder are collected and inserted into the "Available Mods" panel. Installing is simply done by clicking on a mod and pressing ">". This will copy the files across into the game folder structure, backing up any files that it overwrites by appending the mod's name to the file extension and moving to a backup folder. This is why it is important that the files under the MODS folder mirror the same structure as they would under the game folder structure. Also, once you enable a mod, you must make sure not to alter files in the source MODS folder. If you want to modify or update files in the MODS folder, disable the mod first then re-enable again after the files are updated (ie if a newer version of the mod is released). The Generic Mod Enabler has been tested with European Air War, Panzer Elite and Silent Hunter III but should work with just about any moddable game. Simply follow the above instructions replacing "Silent Hunter III" with the name of the game that you wish to mod.

Changes in this 1.44 release: 1. AI uboats traffic with correct entry dates for more realistic purposes. Now the AI VIIc entry date is the same of the unmodded game VIIC uboat.Thanks JBClark! 2. A spawn bug correction on ALL enemy ports in the stock game!(So, no more burning ships in enemy ports I hope!) 3. A new full revision on the dates (entrys and exits) to all units on the mod for a more historical approach. 4. More reduction on traffic/warships to reflect the poor germany naval forces in late war.Thanks Egan! 5. No more DDs as a escort ship in late war. Armed Trawlers are making the job to reflect the week germany navy force after 1943/44.Thanks again Egan! 6. La Spezia and Bergen spawn bug corrected.Thanks Hitch, thanks Sixx_killer! 7. Now is time to play the game after 2 or 3 months of the hard work with the traffic stuff. It's time to take a better look in all these great mods here in this community. The download includes two extra ships: one transport and one cargo. I needed merchants for the operational thearter of the 30th flotilla and I made them by converting British and German aux. cruisers to merchants. They come as fully independent and multi-skinned units. The download also contains roster files for British, American and Canadian fleets. If I understand it correctly, it should be enough to add these ships to the roster so that campaign's random routine can pick the ships up using their UnitType identifier.

It simulates from the naval bases configurations what used to be milk-cows. So you'll see in the game map how these units move in the areas where historically resupplies took place. You just have to approach them as if they were your base and then press ESC.

AIL WAKE MOD V2 DESCRIPTION: I think the original wake is a lot wide and have no correct shape when I compare it with photos of real subs. This replace the wake of the submarine for a more real one. Fix perfect with all tipes unless type II because this sub is smaller than others. Unfortunatly developers use the same wake file for all the subs. I think they should make a file for each one. Anyway I think even in type II looks betther than original one. In V2 I have added a wake for ships too.

This Mod will change all particles in the game: All smoke types, explosions, gun shots, fires, splashes, wakes etc... I hope all the work I´m doing in it have as result a big improvement of the game look. For finish this mod I will ned some time, so I have decided release parts of it as soon I have it. Please note that the previous releases are not the final work and some things can don´t work properly (I don´t think so... but who knows), not looking as they will do in final version and many particles will remain unchanged until future versions. When I have the mod finished I will release a final MOD containing all the parts. Stay tunned.
